Michele Bell
Field Representative, BACTES Texas – Austin Region
What do you like about working for BACTES?
Working for BACTES has been great for me. For instance, I am able to work independently and have been given the opportunity to design a flexible work schedule while I attend college. In addition, even though BACTES is nationwide, I feel as if we are a family. Everyone is friendly and willing to help out – from other field representatives here in Austin to all the people at the Client Service Center in San Diego. I also think it is great that BACTES people are involved with charities – raising money to help and support others in need.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy my job for numerous reasons but one that stands out the most is that our Region President, Michael Riley, organizes conference calls and meetings to ensure our team is up to date with new training materials and HIPAA. I specifically appreciate the CRIS (Certified Release of Information Specialist) training we receive. I have gained considerable knowledge about HIPAA that benefits me and our clients.

Jeff Marshall

What do you like about working for BACTES?
The growth of the company is astonishing. When I started 6-1/2 years ago BACTES East had 5 employees or less; today we have over 50. There are no signs of slowing down.
What do you like most about your job?
With help and guidance I’ve been able to make a transition from field agent to managing sites and employees. At the moment I still get to go out on the road. It’s fun to be able to meet people and work in different atmospheres.
What makes BACTES different from other companies you have worked for?
The relationships I’ve developed at work make it seem like these people are part of my family, not just coworkers. Being able to work with Dan Bailey (BACTES East Region President) and Scott Herland has had a profound impact on my career. They have really helped me get to where I am today.

I like that at BACTES you are a person, not just a money making employee.
What do you like most about your job?
In my position, I am able to make my own hours and I get to work with friendly people. BACTES is different from most companies, because here you are made to feel like part of a family.
