CONTINUING EDUCATION
Continuing education is a way of life at BACTES. We conduct ongoing training for our staff in all aspects of the industry. Our internal training hub, BACTES Cactus, provides a resource for staff to review and download training materials, including a weekly "Tip of the Week" that contains educational information about topics such as ROI, Security, HIPAA, and other content essential to our quality and service processes. We also administer ongoing in-field training, encourage external continuing education, and provide tuition reimbursement.
CERTIFIED RELEASE OF INFORMATION SPECIALISTS (CRIS)
In addition to providing ongoing education, BACTES invests in CRIS-certification from the Association of Health Information Outsourcing Services (AHIOS) for all members of our team who are directly involved in medical records processing. The AHIOS Institute Certificate Program is a rigorous exam that tests knowledge about how to protect the confidentiality of patients’ personal health information when that information is released to requestors.
